Went up a mountain yesterday..

Great colour. Must have been nippy up there. I had to lookup Seefin because there's a Seefin on the Sheep's Head peninsula too. Great and quiet walking country.

Yeah, coolish when we stopped alright, but it was a lovely morning to be out!

The Ballyhoura walking festival is on this weekend. Their events are very well run.

a 6.5 hr hike today along the Coomerkane Ridge in the Cahas - savage - did the Sugarloaf too.. good for the body, mind and soul (no exaggeration)

The black road is after getting a bit of a face lift. They've put down hard-core on it recently from where you park, up to the first gate. A lot of ground work as well that looks like it's for diverting the water

Ya I remember that area got very waterlogged, that’s good to know

People on mountain next to tata's called Yoohoo family.
They get lost years ago and no find way out.

Not a mountain as such.. but we did the Canon Sheehan loop hike on Sat... weather was fab.. the forest was alive.. go on The Ballyhouras.. plenty of nice spots on low levels
