midweek hike up Carraun today... up the ladder - down heavenly gates and the balcony.. fast, fun, fab...

Knockmealdowns today - this was the last pic I took.. all the others have folk in em.. not my fav mt range but enjoyed it none the less.. they all have their merits..

Bay Lough in the background there, steep path down, been a few times, such a great view from the nearby Vee.
Can see the galtys, comeraghs, slievenamon, and on a clear, haze free day, the blackstairs mountains in Wexford/Carlow

Any of ye done the stairway to heaven in Cuilcagh?

Wondering how feasible it would be with smallies. They are fairly hardy and used to climbing, but I fear it might be a bit much.

They're 6. They have done a good few hikes in the Ballyhouras and they did Knocknarea in Sligo last summer no problem.

The Cush Horse Shoe in The Galtees today - up Cush, then Galty Beg (that was some pull) - then Mor.. and down - perfect conditions.. 5 hrs.. 1030 mtrs.. 13.5km
