Just watched the Ballygiblin / Horeswood game , Mark Keane has improved in the last few month's but still very limited IMO and not near to the standard required for intercounty, has been away from the game for too long plenty of younger players coming through that have been on development squads with 4 and 5 years.
Heard the lads are on a right bulking programme atm (trying to keep up with the Limerick lads no doubt), would be no harm to see the likes of Ger Millerick and Rob Downey put on a bit of muscle with their natural charisma and talent
That is a terrible blow for Mark Coleman and for Cork. A beautiful hurler who was probably not seen at his best in the last couple of seasons because of the role he was asked to play.
I wonder if he has had his operation already or if that is scheduled for next year. My only hope for him is that if we have a successful year he would at the tail end of his recovery by next July.
I wish him well and hope for as speedy a recovery as possible.
Best wishes to Mark and hopefully back sooner than expected. Mark Keane will be looked at wingback. Other possibilities of course are millerick, darragh oleary, eoin Downey, Ben O Connor. I think Robert Downey will be the other wingback with joycey of course at 6.
