The work being done is bringing up the capacity to 15k, but a health and safety audit has said that even with that the capacity should be a max of 11k.

Actually you make a good point considering the Munster Council cited capacity reasons for not using PUIR yet the hurling can go ahead in Walsh Park. The CCB should throw it back at them and refuse to go to Walsh park citing the Munster Council's own ruling.

Was wondering about this too, was planning to go watch our lads against Carrigaline this evening but found out about 3 that Carrigaline had given them the game, haven’t heard any reason yet myself.
