I cant actually believe the council allowed Bear Racing to have the pitches knowing what their intention was. We play all of our matches in St Annes not so far away and the council regularly call everything off when it has been raining midweek so that the pitches are protected. Its a pain with missed fixtures but the condition of the pitches is incredible throughout the year. Its the same people that would have made this call!

I'd say the difference here is that Bear Racing paid for the use of the pitch - so the corpo had no choice but to deliver

Finally finished couch to 5k, two weeks later than scheduled due to brutal manflu that wiped me.

No leg or breathing problems so hopefully I’ll get a bit of consistency and fitness back over the next few weeks.

Not a bother to ya Nelly. Take it nice and handy Thursday.

I’ve a little pacer man on my watch which will come into play over the next few weeks. Watch tells me how far ahead, or usually behind, I am from my target pace. I’ll try to knock a few seconds off each run until it starts to look respectable
