The Official Celtic Thread

First half a bit of a test. Dundee very compact.

Maeda had one ruled out for a very marginal offside. He was my MOTM.

Turnbull wins a penalty early in the second half thanks to VAR after the official fails to spot the foul was in the box.

Philips played the first half, Lagers the second. Hatate on for Turnbull was like night and day. The guy is class.

Brilliant save from Carson from AJ shouldering the ball onto the bar. Save of the season without a doubt. Aj also hit the post.

Good performance in the second half.

Thank you

Big one tonight away to Feyenoord. The Dutch side are without Gimenez, who scored 6 in last 4 league games, through suspension. But they've scored 19 goals in their last 4 games, conceding 5.

Celtic at 4/1 tells you the uphill battle they face. Still missing CCV and Nat Phillips came off at ht on Saturday so not sure what way the centre half line up will be. Hopefully Scales keeps his place.

Full backs pick themselves. As does McGregor, Kyogo and probably Maeda. Abada also injured.

I'd take the draw.

Brenda does not have a good track record in Europe. Be doing well to stay in the tie imo.

Feyenoord no great shakes at all but Celtic couldn't put a dent in them even with 11 men.

Poor first goal to lose when Kyogo jumped out of the wall just before half time.

Second half Celtic started OK but the ref gifted the game to the home team by sending off Lagers and awarding a penalty to the Dutch. VAR didn't overturn the decision (when it should have for Celtic in the first half)

The same challenge didn't merit a foul on O'Riley, let alone booking.

Hart saved the pen but down to 10 was always gonna be a struggle.

Then Holm dived into a challenge and was rightly sent off. An absolutely ridiculous thing to do. Celtic down to 9 conceded again.

Lucky to get out of dodge losing just 2. Celtic miles off it. It needs everyone to be playing and everyone to be playing well.... for the second year in a row, we won't get that.

Disappointing showing yet again in Europe.... at least we are the balance sheet champs.

On another note, Palma looks miles and miles off it.

👍

I'm not saying Hakšabanović would have been the answer to Celtic's woes last night but he must have been pissing himself laughing at Palma's performance.

Scales probably Celtic's best player, @6.5/10

Half time, 1-0 up with a penalty from Hatate.

Joe Hart sent off for the first time in his career. Correctly.

Beaton couldnt wait to get the card out.
He's one cheating bastard that Beaton. 3 fouls for Celtic, 2 yellows and a red.
