As long as she’s faster than the other contenders, she’s in. I always get the impression that she runs around 1.5 seconds faster in the green singlet for the relays - a real team player.
You’d like to see one of the others step up and move ahead of her though. With Becker’s improvement the team could be serial medallers then.
Mawdesley’s improvement in 2024 was the real game changer for the group - both in her speed and her ability to close out the fourth leg.
Fingers crossed they’ll deliver tomorrow OK

The difference in quality between the women's legs and the men's legs for Ireland was stark. Kelly is still only 17 mind.

I thought Healy did okay. Cadden was just outgunned and they didn't have enough to pull it out of the fire
