just back from Dublin and thats what they did, looked really classy too, and l'm sure The Clarion wouldn't mind the publicity, and could even be persuaded to sponsor on some levels...
Get the local water sports people involved to do river tricks, boat races, emmmmm l will think more on this subject...

Ya the line up is excellent alright not too mention the fact that its on the same time as the marquee. Is that Nathan Haines of Earth and the Place fame cos that will be good. Just too let ye know that the Threepenny opera is going to be really different and will appeal to a broader spectrum of people as its from Kurt Weill so that means its more jazz/blues orientated style music its based in London round the 1930s about the famous Mack the Knife. The song everyone knows will be the ballad of mack the knife made famous by booby darin and louis armstrong and I'm well pleased as I'm singing it in the Spiegeltent. I will post up more about this in the coming weeks as soon as I get all information.

yeah, saw the tassle club in the fringe two years ago, great stuff! like a mad burlesque evening in the weimar republic... then the brownshirts arrived and all hell broke loose!
