Fantastic win from Lafay yesterday.
Philippsen got it today, in a sprint. Bennett's replacement was 7th. Van Poppel was way back in 24th, which suggests he sat back early. Usually he'd hold on to about 15th, they might be missing Mullen as well.

great racing today in the Pyrenees, Hindley wins the stage and goes into yellow on his first TdF, now 47 secs ahead of Vingegaard and 100 ahead of Pogocar who were so busy watching each other they allowed Hindley to go in the early breakaway. Vingegaard though showed himself to be the strongest rider in the race, made a minute on both in around 1km on the last climb.

Fook, didn't think there'd be much action today. Just caught some highlights there. Could be a one man show from here in l, in GC anyway. That'd be a shame but I'm guessing Pog isn't 100%. Bit to go yet mind.

some tension in the Jumbo team over the fact that Van Aert and two others went on the breakaway today and were then too knackered to help Vingegaard on the last climb

Tourmalet today, big climb should be at the bottom around 3.30pm, then a tough uphill finish to the stage maybe an hour or so later, live on tg4 and eurosport
