Junior A Hurling Championship 2024

It seemed to me yesterday that the harder working and more determined team won out, DOM are a very physical side , are very solid and tidy in the backs and are savage fit, thought they'd die a death after half time, but they stayed with bal and looked the they could keep going after the ft whistle

Still think it's between Tracton and Killeagh for the county tho
Tracton v Dromtarrife for me both have too many big name players and experience not to make the final, Tracton should have too much hurling for DOM and Ballinora, bit of a Glen Rvs story coming down will be b close to going straight back up, Dromtarrife will have to win it soon they were probably a bit too young and inexperienced 2-3 years ago but their main players heading towards mid 20s now with plenty experience pushed Lisgoold and Ballygiblin all the way in previous years both flew through the premier junior grade after, they should account for Killavullen and would have the players to mark the young guns from Killeagh, couldn’t see Whitechurch getting to a semi, a limited Passage should of put them out of the championship, just see Drom v Kill is on in Kilbrin on Sunday surely all games left to play should be played on sand based pitches even with the weather being decent, Mallow surely the obvious choice for the game

Provisional fixture list was emailed to clubs today, all games Sunday at 2 o'clock. Should be on website tomorrow id say once there are no issues with the list

Ballinora v Mathunas in ovens
Killeagh v Whitechurch in Carrigtwohill
Dromtarriffe v Kilavullen in Kilbrin

I guess it's hard to get venues at this time of the year but that's fairly lopsided alright in terms of distance between clubs taking part
I imagine they couldn’t get Cloughduv and there aren’t too many other options, Ovens holds up well this time of year usually.

They brought Erin’s Own over to Ovens to play Ballinora a few years ago in a county semi final and it did them no harm!
