One suspects that they neither know nor care. Their own Government Ministers and M.P,'s are willing day after day to make comments in public and in the media that have no basis in fact.

They are genuinely quite ignorant and seem quite happy to remain so for headlines.

This is one reason why the E.U. calmly reacted this week to their N.I.P. nonsense and why it always wins in negotiation's with the U.K.
