Cork City Sports

Watching the 3000 there and the commentator saying O'Sullivan "the soon to be Olympian" and "when she drops back to 1500 in Paris". Sophie O S is going to Paris Olympics?!?!

Fabulous night of Athletics.

12 men sub 4 in the mile. Doyle was on it and kept at it. Great race, Nathan Greene 3:53 for the win.

The two 3000m were the highlight for me. Mens and womens were both sensational. Griggs is the man. Just like Doyle was on it from the gun..Hacker a level above but it was great to see Griggs get after it.

10.08 in the 100m with a 3.5 wind.

11.14 in the womens wind legal i think Edit. 3.5 m/s so not legal for Celera Barnes

Torrie Lewis took out Talitha Diggs she looked smooth

Nicely riled up for Paris now

I hadn't been to the CSS since 2019 and myself and my daughter really enjoyed it. Cash at the gate, ticket and programme in hand and you could see everyone was there for the athletics as opposed to what has occurred in other sporting events. The organisation and logistics was superb too with the final race finishing bang on time. We'll be back next year.
