Billy Big time springing for a stand ticket.

I've never seen such a big crowd up there as last night. i was late up for about 18:50 and parking was more or less gone.

The new Gym/BBall court thing is class.

Facilities at CIT have transformed in the last 10 years.

Men's 3000 coming off the final bend - Hacker is well clear but Griggs (in orange) and the lad in blue are just launching their burn - they got right up on to Hacker's shoulder by the end. I hadn't seen Griggs do a burn like that before - brilliant

The women's 200 "A" race - with Becker, Diggs, Healy and Lewis, this was the race with most Olympians. Pure class to see it up close.

I was impressed with both Becker and Healy being in thw mix on a cold night. 23:51 for Becker is decent.

Mark Smyth in slow heat of the 200m was cool too. He really should have been seeded higher.

Man in Blue is Kasey Knevelbaird.

Griggs run was a NU23R by about 2 seconds

Fabulous night of Athletics.

12 men sub 4 in the mile. Doyle was on it and kept at it. Great race, Nathan Greene 3:53 for the win.

The two 3000m were the highlight for me. Mens and womens were both sensational. Griggs is the man. Just like Doyle was on it from the gun..Hacker a level above but it was great to see Griggs get after it.

10.08 in the 100m with a 3.5 wind.

11.14 in the womens wind legal i think Edit. 3.5 m/s so not legal for Celera Barnes

Torrie Lewis took out Talitha Diggs she looked smooth

Nicely riled up for Paris now
The mile was outstanding - the last lad under 4:00 just jogged the final 15 metres and still finished 3:59 😮 Doyle ran a blinder.

There was great racing in both the 3000s - I'd say the last lap of the men's was the highlight of the night for me.

It's so rare that you see sprinting close-up - the power and speed are awesome - that A race in the 200 was some blast.
