Brilliant Event, seamless. Really enjoyable and great to see such a fine crowd.
Griggs had a brilliant race & Cathal Doyle is such good racer. Good run by Louise Shanahan in the 800 also, a nice return to form.
Enjoyed standing alongside the 200m starting blocks and seeing the top quality athletes like Diggs going through the prep and watching them taking off.
10/10 evening.

Houser signed with Brooks Beasts shortly after returning to the US from Ireland.

The same group Josh Kerr is a member of.

Something happened in the last couple of weeks that caused his contract to be unilaterally terminated due to a code of conduct violation.

No story out yet but it'll probably mean Doping or potentially some kind of assault allegations.

All the socials have been scrubbed. His agent is Ray Flynn who confirmed the story but said little else.

Congratulations to Cork City Sports 100m mens champ Coby Hilton on winning a silver medal in the USATF indoor champs and his Irish Coach Kevin Cogley

Last i heard of him he was trying to change allegiance to Ireland.

Don't know where he is on ranking

Good showing also for City Sports Alumni Sam Prakel and Luke Hauser who finished 2nd and 3rd in the 1500m and will likely head to worlds

A whole host of Irish stars will be in action on home soil in Cork including Phil Healy and Israel Olatunde (100m), Nick Griggs (3000m) and Nicola Tuthill (hammer). Tuthill will face a particularly strong field in the hammer including 2022 European champion Bianca Ghelber from Romania and European bronze medallist Rose Loga from France.


Two recent European senior medal winners will clash in the women’s 3000m. European 10,000m bronze medallist Megan Keith faces Germany’s Eva Dieterich, the silver medallist in the 10km at the 2025 European Running Championships.

Griggs heading to Euro U23 on the 17th July so it'll be good to get a look at him after his injuries
