Look I like Benny's bars. But in my opinion there's too many of them nowadays. He'll own every pub in the city at this stage (or at least his backers, Heineken)
If you don't like Heineken and rising sons products you're goosed.
In my humble opinion, Benny's bars work best in old places with character like oval, sin e, mutton dagger.

Saw The Beta band, Mercury Rev, Morrissey, Super Furry Animals, Richard Hawley , few others in the Savoy.

Should have been a class venue, never was.

Saw Jimmy Somerville, Divine Comedy and an array of DJs there. Kinda dead atmosphere. The former was class though
