They're called Stone Throwing Youths and effectively is a one man band, but he's drafred in a bassist and a drummer for the gig... Brian is his name, seriously talented individual on so many levels... Played a Bootleg gig a few weeks back and was in a band called Mannikin before this... They played a livewire show at some stage if I'm not mistaken.... He's from Bantry but based in Dublin at present.... The e.p he did with Data Recording studios is available in Plugd....

on a side note watching brian play will make you feel musically retarded, when you realise he has no sight thats when it really hits you.. guy is a pure gent,.. has come to alot of our gigs including the EP launch in the Pav and is a great guy, major respect

They were pretty damn good when they played Bootleg a few months back.

Yeah enjoyed the support act too, some great riffs going on there.
Chad Smith was class alright - he really looked to be enjoying himself and he must have a trailer load of drum sticks to give away too. He must have thrown over 20 of them into the crowd. Great to see him playing some balls to the wall rock too, very different to his chillies drumming.
I'd definately go to see them again.
