Official NFL Thread 2021/2022

If Salah didn't sign off on this trade you'd have to question his long term future there.

If he did sign off on it, you'd have to question his judgement.

Particularly with Cam available as a free agent

Cam has no business really going to New York. He could join a contender, Seattle should have signed him already. The media hoopla if he played well and Zach returned, would be more hassle than its worth for the Jets.

Saleh would have had some level of input.

The Jets should have had a veteran back up QB sorted before now, if only to mentor Wilson. The whole set-up is bereft of experience. Rookie head coach, rookie offensive and defensive co-ordinators, rookie QB, back up QB with no NFL starting experience and the youngest team in the League.

The one guy with a checkered NFL pedigree and who was appointed to help Wilson, was the passing game co-ordinator Greg Knapp but he died in a cycling accident a week before training camp.

I wouldn't be rushing Wilson back tbh. Learn him learn away at his own pace on the sideline, and if the offence continues to look bad under Flacco, then the game-plan isn't fit for purpose.

Listening to ATN and they're talking about DeShaun Watson heading to Miami or Carolina. If the latter Darnold is in trouble there?

Watson only wants to go to Miami apparently.

Carolina's owner is an aggressive type though, who will make a strong push to convince Watson otherwise. They have a good team that should be making the playoffs.

Darnold isn't the answer in Carolina

I can't understand why he wouldn't want to go to Carolina. They're miles better than Miami in nearly every way although Florida is tax free. Darnold definitely isn't the answer though. WFT, Denver and Philly should also be interested
