the river running going thru the woods was so powerful - twas fantastic.. a silver lining to all the rain
the woods reminded me of lord of the rings.. can't wait to see it in other seasons/weather.. I bet its beautiful in frost what with all the moss hanging off the trees..

Castlegale Loop - Visit Ballyhoura
Climb to reach the cairn of stones on Carrighenry Hill with views over Golden Vale countryside. According to a local story passed down through generations, tenants in this area would hoist a flag atop this pile of stones to inform others that the local landlord was in the process of collecting rent.visitballyhoura.com
I did the canon Sheehan loop last Christmas in the frost and it was gorgeous.
