I think your employer covers the cost. Don't know about self employed, there must be something there to cover it you would think.

Is taking yourself off the electoral register the only way of avoiding being called for Jury Duty?

The lad in my local offie has been called up and the poor fella is having a breakdown over it.

Was called up a couple of times for Jury Duty but once you don't get selected you're excused. It's no hassle really being called
