They're just coming up on 5k in the women's Marathon. 19:00mins so quick but not nuts

No move yet. All one big pack.

Fionnuala McCormack will fancy a medal. She's showing at the front.

Eagle AC's Aoife Cooke seem to be off the back a touch. Hot day hopefully its all in the plan

Anne-Marie McGlynn maybe 10m off her.

Plenty of road to run yet

Edit.: leaders 5k pace 18:03 so 2hr 30 pace. Well within Finnoula's capability. Looks hot though

Only a matter of time.

Was feirce impressed with Olatunde at city sports. He's a powerful man. Won it on the dip that night in 10.3 into a headwnd

Hession was class too. Never got the credit he deserved. Probably would have made the GB team at the time if he was from over there and the Beeb were plugging those lads big time

I remeber he had to run a heat of the 200m on his own in lane 8 in Beijing over some hassle with blocks.

Dave Matthews said Aoife was as high as 21st at about 38k so the wheels came off there big time from the sounds of it.
