Men's long jump on now. Fantastic battle already. Our lad in second as I type but early days. That said, new pb and U20 record in first round

His 7m83 was obly taken down in the last round. Tough break.

You can't ask for much more than an U20 NR.

Good win and Irish U23 3k record for Darragh McEllhenny.

He out kicks this years Italian 1500m champ and the field is high quality. I spotted Morgan Beadlescome recently sighed with Nick Willis' VNTC, Mason Ferlic who has made a few US teams in the steeple amd Emile Cairess UK 10k record holder who was at the City Sports

The 53s finish is damn fast

I've no idea how many Europeans are faster than him.

He's 13th this year by PB. A good few ahead of him are injured. Crippa and i think Kimeli

I would expect Jacob to rabbit the field to about 13.10 in the final

Him and Fay will be seeded to different heats so as long they're not super slow both will have a good shout at a final and if he can close like that again he'll have a chance at a medal
