Shows how desperate we are giving Scannell another year. Wycherley showed great promise a few years ago and could come good yet. O Brien is a decent utility back option so makes sense to keep him.

To be fair to him, he was talking more about where he's end up if his contract isn't renewed in France and that being English qualified would make the prem more likely.
