Tried to edit my previous can’t ?dunno is it my iPhone or site But sometimes my posts don’t post or takes forever Anyways ref Dunnes Until Aldi Tesco etc came along they had us by the goolies, And as for motor factors and garages, should have wire masks, I was lucky in a way as could get cheaper stuff up north for the family ref parts etc But I was screwed big time by a well known motorcycle shop here, Part up north was around the 80/110 sterling ( bracket ) Near 300 pounds here . Knew he had me as I needed bike for work and hadn’t time to travel north

Fantastic buses in their day, Vanhool Mc Ardle they were built in a factory in Dumplin it was a joint venture between CIE and Vanhool.
The above is D731, these buses all had Leyland engines in them when new, most were upgraded to Daf engines as the Leyland ones were a disaster.
