And of course the Sun will replace the Rain..... It is unusual for a Citizen to be a Simpering Toady to so called Authority. Particularly an absurd Authority with it's Plastic Trees and vast amounts of unused Cycle Lanes, and insane Culling of City Centre commercial activity. Riots at 11PM on Saturday night do not a City make.
City Hall do not have a track record of anything great. e.g. They had massive plans for the Kinsale Road, now Pairc Ui Dhomhnaill... 400 trucks per day of rubbish from all over the country going in there to be processed, then out again to fuel two Incinerators at Ringaskiddy...... One The National Toxic Waste Incinerator.....
As the weather chills we will see this unfolding disaster reveal itself in the City Centre. I am sure Billy McGills photo diary will be vivid.
A northern European city that has survived over 800+ winters (Almost 700 years without automobile traffic choking the central core)..............can it survive the winter of 2021-2022?
Will safe car free and pedestrian friendly streets, frequent public transport and adequate parking options finally push it over the edge?
mire, your statements are very positive. But any evidence? Is the City Centre actually doing well? How many buildings on Patrick Street are boarded up? Seriously, how many? Take a guess or go look.
Give it a rest Stacky.
They've made a complete fucking balls of traffic management and parking around the city to accommodate miles of cycle lanes that are hardly being used.
Classic city council ineptitude.
You can trot out some shit about parking outside Soundstore but the removal of parking in places like Wellington Road and Victoria Road is absolutely retarded.
I parked on Patrick St earlier and wwnt to Waterstones,English Market and M+S
