How many Pride weekends are there?

City has become an absolute shithole. Pana is like something from Eastern Europe during the soviet era. Everywhere near those awful fast food "restaurants " is destroyed with dirt and grease from the rubbish they put out. People openly dealing by the GPO every Wednesday and zombies everywhere. Maybe the "good old days" really were the good old days.

Agreed, stayed overnight in town at the start of the month for the Elton John amd the amount of walking dead around hassling people would turn your stomach.

The Gardai are just like most public servants, feck all interest in doing their jobs and moving on these scum.

The amount of vacant or derelict city centre property is something else.

the old pmpa building is an eyesore on oliver plunkett st.

What they told us:
Love is love, dude. We just want marriage equality. Pinky promise. Stop smearing us as groomers. We don't want anything to do with your kids. That's just a far right narrative.

What we got:
Rainbow flags replacing the tricolor. Grottos of Panti Bliss in place of the Virgin Mary. Drag storytime indoctrinating kids in the West of Ireland. Primary school children "taught" gender can be selected off a menu.

The power the Catholic church held over the state pales in comparison to the control the Alphabet mafia has weilded in just a few years. Supported in government, in opposition, by the state broadcaster and financed by thousands of NGOs.
It turns out that the only difference between conspiracy theories and reality is time.

Put that in your Evening Echo.

Going into town again after barely being in there over the couple of years of lockdowns really brought home what a kip the place is. So many buildings look or are derelict. And most of the buildings around the city centre badly need to be painted. Rubbish and empty bottles of booze allover the place. The quays are as manky as ever. Footpaths are falling apart.

There was a couple of lads in sleeping bags in a doorway just around Porters on Patrick Street recently. Looked like they were living there. Place was manky. They looked like two Sherpas.

But tbf to the Council they invest in what’s most important to us as a City. Big fuck off wooden breathing machines and Rainbow crossings.

Well said.
It was like an episode of the walking dead.
The zombies would nearly walk through you
Even outside the library, the walls there are permanently stained with god knows what.

Saw the rainbow crossing in person the weekend. It's on both sides of the actual crossing outside the lights. Still think they should've just painted the actual crossing tbh.
