I have no doubt about it that if they thought they could push the anti-crowd back, and win the battle of words, they would make this decision.

Hardly. A battle of words wasn’t what happened that day. A street battle between thugs and the public order unit was the battle that day. Anyway, hopefully the Gardaí in Fermoy will be better prepared.

In the grand scheme of things it is a battle of words. It’s a social media war.

There are headcases involved in both sides here. The vast majority of people have no problem with refugees coming into our country, but this open door policy and those coming without passports needs to be spoken about.

Derek is celebrating Day 106 at Abbeyville and fair play to hime, but its interesting if you look back at some of his previous Abbeyville milestone pictures they have been taken with some of his jubilant supporters proudly standing alongside there tent. No one standing there today, just a lonley looking tent.
