Nobody has a right not to be offended. They have a right to ignore people, to boycott their gigs or publications, and even to give out about someone they find offensive, but not to be so mollycoddled that they're treated like particularly delicate children.
Possible Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson on Wednesday asserted that homosexuality was a choice because people who went to prison “come out gay.”
During an interview on CNN, host Chris Cuomo asked Carson if the courts should step in when people of a state voted for laws that infringed on the rights of others “like happened very often with slavery, like many would argue is happening now with people who are gay.”
Carson said that in the case of slavery, “our Constitution was followed and we corrected those things.”
But the former neurosurgeon insisted that LGBT people did not deserve the same equal protection under the law because they could choose not to be gay.
“You can’t just say because it happened that way, this time this is the same situation,” Carson opined. “It’s not the same situation. Because people have no control over their race for instance.”
“You think they have control over their sexuality?” Cuomo wondered.
“Absolutely,” Carson replied.
“You think being gay is a choice,” Cuomo pressed.
“Absolutely,” Carson said. “Because a lot of people who go into prison, go into prison straight, and when they come out they’re gay. So, did something happen while they were in there? Ask yourself that question.”
“Most gay people never go to prison,” Cuomo pointed out. “And you know, there’s a whole theory of dominance.”
“Wait a minute, I said a lot of people who go in come out [gay],” Carson clarified.
“I’m denying that’s a basis for understanding homosexuality,” the CNN host argued.
“If in fact that is the case then it obviously thwarts what you just said,” Carson continued. “But here’s what’s important, why do gay people want to get married? Because they want to have various rights, property rights, visitation rights.”
“They want their commitment to count just like mine and my wife’s.” Cuomo observed.
“Why can’t any two human beings — I don’t care what their sexual orientation is — why can’t they the legal right to do those things?” Carson asked. “That does not require a change in the definition of marriage.”
“But it would require covering that union as you do others, which is called marriage in our society,” Cuomo shot back.
“I don’t think so,” Carson concluded.

“Stealth jihad is working in every circle you can think of in the United States” begins this speech by Dorrie O’Brien, an author and Islamophobe who is convinced that radical Islam is making its way into American culture through the teaching of other languages, calendars, and multiculturalism.
“Have you noticed, these days, that the Islamic holy days are on all the calendars?” she begins. It quickly goes downhill from there, as she denounces a child a who read the Pledge of Allegiance in Arabic in a small New York school. In fact, the school asked him to do so, because the school was celebrating “world languages day, or some such thing.” She then decries multiculturalism and socialism, clearly unfamiliar with the meaning of either of those two words, and in an outburst of extreme ignorance declares that schools should celebrate English, and that she “doesn’t understand why we should celebrate other languages.”
She then goes on to attack New York Mayor Bill de Blasio for “shoving two Islamic holy days down the throats of non-Muslims” while being heckled by a member of the crowd who noted that “they voted for it!” She says that de Blasio is a “dimi?”, and that he is paying his “jyzia” (an ancient tax imposed under the Ottoman Empire on non-Muslim citizens), because “the Muslim Brotherhood played a large role in getting him elected”.
New York City is one of the most diverse cities in America, and it is very progressive and inclusive of Mr. de Blasio to recognize the holidays of all of his constituents. This Tea Partier clearly has yet to understand that America’s strength is derived from it’s melting pot of cultural diversity — and the fact that Islam is one of the many religions embraced by that melting pot doesn’t mean that Muslims are waging a “stealth jihad”. In fact, they are only expressing their religion, just as she has a right to express her own Christianity without being demagogued.
Male leadership, don’t you be ashamed you go to a church with male leadership. Every church that’s right with God oughta have a sign: “Male Leadership.” Because that’s the only kind of leadership, both from Adam all the way to the last part of the Bible. It’s all been male. This is a man’s world!
There aren’t many places that men can even rejoice anymore without feeling about half-ashamed because they try to put you down or sue you or something, but brother this is a man’s world. You can say what you want, you can do what you want, but God made Adam in leadership and it’s going to end with a man in leadership.
Michele Bachmann explains ‘God’s time clock’: Iran nuclear deal makes ‘Christ’s return imminent’
Former Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-MN) predicted in a recent interview that President Barack Obama’s handling of the Middle East was a sign of the End Times and that Jesus Christ would soon return to Earth.
“If we actually turn our back on Israel as we have seen Barack Obama do today, if that happens then I think we will see a scale and a level of push back in the United States, negative consequences,” Bachmann told Understanding the Times radio host Jan Markell on Sunday. “I don’t know what they are, but I believe that the Bible is true. And believe what the Bible says is that our nation and the people of our nation will reap a whirlwind, and we could see economic disasters, natural disasters.”
“The United States does not want to be in that position and unfortunately the people put into office Barack Obama,” she opined. “Not only once, but twice. And the people have to rise up against his actions and demand that their leaders take steps accordingly.”
But even though Bachmann lamented that Barack Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran was “pro the goals of Islamic jihad,” she said that the coming End Times were a reason to celebrate.
“These are not fearful times, these are the most exciting days in history,” she insisted. “Talk about what you see in the newspaper. We can talk about God’s time clock and the fact that Jesus Christ’s return is imminent. Is there anything more important to talk about?”
“We need to be so on fire right now about the things of Christ and the things of God, that needs to occupy our time and our thoughts virtually from morning to night because we have very little time — in my opinion — left before the second return of Christ. That’s good news!” the former congresswoman added. “The world is embracing degeneracy, but what that also tells us as we look at what the world is doing that they’re going according to God’s time clock. Pastors, preach it from the pulpit!”
That grown men and women, intelligent and educated adults, congregate in a room weekly and, in their belief, actually partake in a cannibal ritual. And then give money to the organisation who facilitate this event even though this organisation is one of the richest in the world. This organisation used also support slavery and promise mercenary soldiers a passage to heaven if they murdered non Christians in a land grab.
Bachmann actually speaks of America as if it's specifically mentioned in, or even central to the story in the bible, right there in that last yoke I posted.
