Never saw the attraction of either tbh.

I remember watching Cork City v Spurs in 1989 at Musgrave Park. Think it finished 3-0 Spurs. Gary Leineker got his first Spurs goal in the match. I was right behind the goal sitting on the grass for it. Got told to fuck off back over the fence or wall by a steward. I remember Paul Gasgoinge being unplayable that day. He took the piss. City players couldnt get near him. He got a standing ovation at the end.

Cant remember. Looked it up and only info i can find about the match is a thread on Boards. Apparentely Gazza got a goal. I think maybe Leineker got 2 that day. Or it may have been Paul Walsh who i remember came on a a sub.

I remember Chris Hughton getting vile racist abuse as he was competing for a ball in the corner by the Tory Top end. And people laughed and or gasped, but none spoke up.

Don't think/hope that would not be tolerated today.
