We need toe to toe, no sweeper , man on man. Meade, Kingston , TOC , Cadogan to come off bench and give us extra legs down the stretch. Downey on Hegarty, Dalton on Hayes. Every time Lynch gets it he needs to be swarmed. If it doubt launch it into Square and get in around breaks.

If you were to guess at what management see as the core group of starting players, you'd add Pa Collins (obvs!), Niall O’Leary, Sean O'D, Fitzgibbon, Dalton and Harnedy to the list too


Rob Downey, TommyO'C, Meade and Brian Roche are probably certainties as well, provided there are no ill effects from Sunday.

After that it's looking for who can replace Robbie O'F and how you'd bring Millerick into the frame.

Lads on about starters & it damaging the influence from de bench. If we are 7/8 points down against limerick we won’t drag it back like we did against Tipp or Clare.
For me we have to have ball winners in the half/ forward line. So 3 of Harnedy. O Mahony. Twomey. Dalton or Hayes must start. Leave Hoggy @14. And Kingston & Barrett inside with him. No excuses for laziness & not working hard.
It’s Knockout hurling. Cork can do it if we go 15 on 15.

The Limerick half back line is the most important line in their team,we have to break even with that line if we are to have any chance of winning. i would do something we are not known for and thats thinking outside the box, put Millerick on Byrnes to do a marking job as Byrnes is worth at least 4-6 points per game for Limerick ,play B Hayes on Kyle Hayes as his fielding skills might prevent K Hayes from dominating his area and either Dalton or Fitz at Centre Forward.
