They’ll win a Munster championship while cork will win nothing unfortunately, lots of effort but the lack of thought or plan for the last number of minutes when Kerry has the ball was shocking

The most annoying thing about that game was the Fucken plaudits these fellas hand out
to Cork. Great effort blah blah, the game was there for the taking. We didn’t trust ourselves to keep pushing up and if we didn’t have Brian Hurley we would have been dead and buried first half.

Hard to see how both of those can be true at the same time. If they’d pushed out on Kerry in those minutes they probably concede a score and go out of range. The counter agreement is that setting up the way they did in that period of the game put them in the position where they were a poorly executed handpass away from drawing the game.

Kerry leaving Maguire free to potentially take that pass from Corbett at that juncture of the game though. They’d be harshly punished for that by a division 1 team.

If Cork were 2 points up and did that we'd see no issue with it either. Problem is Cork wouldn't be allowed do that by Kerry or any other team at a high level.

If Cork had taken the hammering predicted there fellas would have been saying we’ve no scoring forwards.

We had a scoring forward and were quite competitive and fellas are saying without him we’d have been fucked as if it’s some sort of insight.
