Exactly. Was Cork's own fault. Did nothing to dissuade Kerry from keeping the ball. 5mins to go should have pressed. Easier said than done, a lot of lads dead on their feet!

They’ll win a Munster championship while cork will win nothing unfortunately, lots of effort but the lack of thought or plan for the last number of minutes when Kerry has the ball was shocking

The most annoying thing about that game was the Fucken plaudits these fellas hand out
to Cork. Great effort blah blah, the game was there for the taking. We didn’t trust ourselves to keep pushing up and if we didn’t have Brian Hurley we would have been dead and buried first half.
