Cork Footballers

Wonder if Cleary would be tempted to pick up the phone to Alan Cadogan? Game has moved on no doubt but an athlete like that who knows where the goal is always has something to offer.
If he had any interest in football he'd surely have togged out against Duhallow recently?
He was good at underage but that's water under the bridge now.
Like the rest of us you are searching for a lightning fast forward who can score.

Would be all for it, but it has the sounds of a lad stepping back from the grind of being an intercounty player. You'd be amazed if he hasn't already been sounded out given his lack of opportunities in recent years.

Wasn’t A. Cardigan in the 2011 U21 team that hammered Kerry..giving a very false dawn as a senior team never materialised due to due players preference for hurling, injuries, 1 Aussie rules poach etc.

Interesting as Ive been surprised myself to hear it said a few times over the years by guys involved with Cork underage football around that time that Alan Cads was the best underage footballer in Cork that they saw in 10 years and what a shame it was that he didn’t stay involved with Cork football.
