Jack Cahalane is my player of the championship this year so far. He was fast tracked last year and he played football championship for Cork. Having played an incredible amount of games over the previous few years he got a hip problem I think that was operated on sometime after the Bars finished Munster hurling.should be, was he good yesterday? been impressed with him for a long time, in another county he would be fast tracked, here falling between two stools
Buckley (Newcestown) & Herlihy (Dohenys) were in same boat - straight in from 20s to National League and Senior training - picked up a lot of injuries on the back of it - both seem to be back to form now so hopefully the work they have done is starting to stand to them, lessons to be learnedJack Cahalane is my player of the championship this year so far.
