Cork Cycling infrastructure

why shouldn't it work if and a big if implemented properly ?

It is unlikely to work because unlike with their counterparts on the continent, the gardai are very unlikely to police it properly.

Do you think you'd be more likely to get away with no bell on your bike/insufficient lighting/breaking traffic lights/going wrong way up one way streets/cycling on footpaths etc in Ireland or on the continent?

Can we keep this thread to cycling Infrastructure, as there is another mega thread on PROC where people can give out with all their hearts content about behaviour?

Don't see too many cyclists being pulled over for that here either.

Although, they did fine 40+ people for passing on the inside of a tram at a stop (gap between footpath and door of tram) a few months ago.

Excellent!!! Hopefully they'd bring something similar in here. All in favour of suitable passing distances between vehicles but the same cycle-fascists who insist cars should provide a minimum space when overtaking refuse to countenance a minimum space for bicycles over or under-taking. As ever, they only want good rules of the road to apply to other road users, not to themselves. Funny that.

ok good, one

a few more per chance
