Cork city has gone to the dogs.

What a fucking dirty despicable prick, I hope the scum in prison give him a dose of his own medicine.

Look at the shit his solicitor came out with, no wonder he the jury were unanimous in finding the prick guilty;

Mr Peart senior counsel said to the jury of seven men and five women, “A lot of the facts are shrouded in a mist of drink and bad memory. I will be suggesting to you that it is nigh impossible to come to a decision beyond reasonable doubt. You might have a suspicion or an intuition but these are the dark angels on the ceiling of the jury room.
“Where an accused mistakenly believed that the woman was consenting, where he believed that genuinely – even though she did not consent – he must be found not guilty.
“Strange things happen in life. There would not be the word bizarre if strange things did not happen in life. He said he wandered to the room and was welcomed to the room and this had a continuous follow-on.” “I am saying to you – do not make a decision because of peer pressure, because you believe other people would not think the world of you. Just consider, has the state proved its case? Don’t be pressurised by public opinion… don’t be pushed around by political correctness. Sometimes people make a decision that is totally, politically incorrect because it is the right thing to do.”

Solicitor? Barrister, surely.

Some strange stuff there alright though. I'm particularly concerned with the line of argument in the bit I highlighted............ That's going down a very dangerous road.

There's a fairly fucked woman on Douglas Street now ingesting some kind of solvent. Not sure if it's deodorant or what but it's an aerosol of some sort. She looks absolutely fucked.

First time I've ever seen that happen. Fairly sure that can kill you in an instant?

I'm no doctor but I very much doub it unless the dosage was on an industrial scale.

Luckily here on the PROC we have a poster who is an expert in everything from taxation to the legal system to Syrian restaurants, so maybe she'll be along soon to give her opinion from a medical perspective

Your wish is granted...

It wasn't a taxation question so much as a probate one, and that is just part of legal training.

I did first aid training with the ambulance service in 2014. That's where I learned about the dangers of solvent overdose.

You just assumed I was referring to you?

What a total narcissist 🙄
