I work for a company with city centre offices in Cork and Dublin. The women I work with refuse to get the Luas when in Dublin as they don’t feel safe on it. They always get taxis.

It's like your position on cyclists.
You simply will not accept anything you disagree with.
I've travelled on it probably.10 times since Christmas from Heuston to Connolly. I'm about 5'10 and 16 St. I don't feel safe on it and am constantly watching all round me. The real scary thing is I see primary school kids getting on on their own. Staggering.

Arguing over safe cycling is just a moot point when the planet is just focked.

I'm still laughing at those who think that luas (or public transport in general) is more dangerous than driving, given the number of road fatalities.
