You must be a Canovee man backing st James they won’t come within 8 points of CanoveeKinsale v Ballydesmond
Canovee v St James
Glenville v Cullen
Kilmurry v Cobh
Millstreet v Urhan Draw
Buttevant v St Nicks
Canovee motoring nicely lost a league final to a lucky goal will be hard to stop kilmurry on the other hand once they come out the group should get better as the year goes on but getting out the group is the problemWinners will come from cobh or buttevant. Neither muskerry team going well at the moment
Great analysis,1. Cobh 2. Kilmurry 3. Canovee 4. St. James
Definitely the the strongest group in the championship. Confident in saying that James' will finish bottom but can see the other 3 teams beating each other and finishing level on 4 points each.
1. Cullen 2. Kinsale 3. Glenville 4. Ballydesmond
Cullen went up in my estimation after their defeat of Canovee in the league final. Can see them topping the group. A toss up then between the other 3 teams. I'll go for Kinsale and Glenville but Ballydesmond are capable of a win. Least strongest group.
1. Buttevant 2. Millstreet 3. Urhan 4. St Nicks
After a flop of a championship last year, I think Buttevant have recovered well in the league this year and should top this group. Millstreet Urhan to be a draw then with scoring difference deciding second.
Winners: Buttevant, They have the strongest forward line in the division, however, injuries or their defence could hold them back. I think Kilmurry are after a couple of long seasons and could see this curtailing them. Dark horses: Cobh
Relegation: St. Nicks. I think they will care the least about this championship and can see Glen Rovers going a long way in the hurling too which would negatively affect them further.
Agree with all of this. Buttevant to win it out as you’re guaranteed one of the best 4 to be out from one group and the two that do progress will be after putting a lot into getting out of the group. Buttevant have a handy first round game so the absence of some of their stars like O Neill is no issue and they will be back and ready for the business end of things.1. Cobh 2. Kilmurry 3. Canovee 4.
