canovee had a weak enough team out this weekend. I think only half the starting players they won the county junior A with last year are available to them. They struggled past St James and will be up against it with Cobh and Kilmurry if they don’t get some back into the team.

Urhan had a big win over millstreet in fairness, that was probably a battle for second place in the group. They’re always punching above their weight imo. Buttevant with an impressive performance too. Nicks look like relegation favs

The other group is the weakest imo. Kinsale and Cullen in pole position.

Hard to read into the buttevant game, I know milstreet and urhan would seem to be behind them but Nicks are a complete joke. Looking at the kilmurry group, good win over a tough cobh team, could be settled in the next game if canovee can get the better of them. I'd still fancy kilmury, buttevant to reach the final

Buttevant score line looks like they’re going to be very tough to beat! Did any Glen hurlers play for nicks? If they get a few of them for the next 2 games they could be helped massively

This grade is great has so many teams all believing they can win it

Nicks are in serious trouble I hear. Apparently the two Downey's wernt there at all even though named on the panel. Dean brosnan did come on and from what I hear made a bit of a difference in the forwards

Thought Cullen were going to have a say in this championship but appears they are probably at bit of Buttevant, Kilmurry and Canovee. Can’t see the winner coming from outside those three
