2024 Junior A Football Championship

the Carbery championship is very hard to call compared to some of the others. Barryroe only barely beat a good few teams on their winning run last year. The age profile of the team means they should have a good chance of winning it again though.

Barryroe, Kilmac, Argideen should all be thereabouts with St Colums and Kilmeen being dark horses. The loss of BOD for Tadhg Macs will be felt I think.

It’s a wide open county championship. A second team or a hurling first team could come strong in the latter stages if they were to be knocked out in hurling. Besides that Aghinagh, Castlemagner, Inniscarra, Ballygarvan, Killavullen and Mayfield would all have to be in the conversation as well as the Carbery champs

Killavullen and the gaels amalgamation in the Avondhu final. Gaels would be favourites in my opinion. Killavullen won Avondhu last year but Gaels improving. I think donoughmore are in the Muskerry final. Not a clue about Duhallow. Castlehaven B going well in Carbery and Whites Cross going well in City.

Churchtown going well in the league, they probably regard themselves as more hurling but at the end of the day, they've never won anything so silverware is silverware
Churchtown only scrope past Ballyclough recently in the league. I still feel Kilavullen are a good bit clear of them
