Interesting read this. My neighbours in grenagh seem to be very confident bolstered by numerous underage cork stars. VERDICT grenagh by 7
Not correct based on history, it’s rare enough that a hurling club win Junior A county football.Thinking a lot in this grade will depend on how clubs that are strong at hurling get on. If they go out of hurling early their football potential will significantly rise.
I'm not basing it on history but more on how much weaker the junior standard is now compared to previous years. Not correct based on history, it’s rare enough that a hurling club win Junior A county football.
The Corcoran inspired Erin’s Own one of the few that have done it in recent decades.
Hope you hadn't money on it ?Interesting read this. My neighbours in grenagh seem to be very confident bolstered by numerous underage cork stars. VERDICT grenagh by 7
I would have agreed with that statement myself up to recently. Ended up sitting beside a very interesting group of Cork GAA men in PUC and they educated me.I'm not basing it on history but more on how much weaker the junior standard is now compared to previous years.
Hindsight is great you child. Grenagh got robbed.Hope you hadn't money on it ?
I see donoughmore won by 10 points
Would’ve fancied aghada to be strong at this stage. Is that result more of a reflection on a strong castlemartyr team this year?1st round of East Cork JAFC:
Midleton 1-8 Fr O Neill 0-10
Dungourney 1-8 Carrigtwohill 0-8
Castlemartyr 1-14 Aghada 0-8
Lisgoold 0-17 Youghal 1-10
Cloyne 3-8 Bride Rovers 0-9
Carraig na Bhfear 1-11 Erin’s Own 0-8
