Who is Twomey (excuse my lack of knowledge) he did very well but looks a bit light. Hilarious that Ronan C thought he was Cathal Naughton for the first 2 mins

Lehane was very good (bodes well ) and so were Luke and Jamie (ship sailed?)

O Leary H got a bit of a roasting .

Tim O Mahony is in danger of turning into Pat Horgan (the 80s version ) With managers moving him 6/11 all the time and no stability for him.

Midleton would want to improve a lot to be in with a shout this year. Looked very off the boil at times. Few key moments swung things for them. Lot of their main men anonymous for decent chunks of the match.

Barrs/Rockies like a mirror image of last yrs game. 'Barrs asleep for the 1st quarter, thunder into the game and leave a couple of goal chances behinde whilst the B'rock fullforwardline score at ease.

Niall o neill refs adult games like ots sciath na scoil. Wasnt a decent hit put in til 15 mins to go.

Not a great match but a big win for the Barrs. If they get into the knock-out stages they have a lot of potential. Hayes was pretty much unmarkable any time the ball went into him. Cotter caused a lot of problems in the first half, but in the second half the Barrs got to grips with him and kept Connolly pretty quiet as well. That said, the Rockies will be kicking themselves for a run of bad wides in the second half which allowed the Barrs to pull away.
