Cork u20 Hurling 2023

I’ll keep checking throughout the week. I’ve no problem going to the terrace but would prefer to go to the stand. Sun shining in Thurles. Sure where else would you want to be! I’m not surprised the stands are sold out. Offaly will bring more to this than they did the Joe McDonagh final.
the stadium has a capacity of 45,690 of which 24,000 are seated.
No fucking way have they sold 24,000 tickets for the stands for this

Over 20K at the minor final alone last year.
That's well and good but 25000 stand tickets gone on a Tuesday before the game?

Wouldn't be surprised to see more later on the week.
Also how can adult tickets be available as they were this morning and no juveniles?
I'm calling shenanigans.

Ben O Connor plays a very physical game, hopefully the ref leaves the game flow because giving away frees against a smaller team could be our downfall.

I'm hearing this narrative creeping in....
Offaly smaller lighter team, Cork bigger and more physical.... advantage to Offaly, as we're going to concede a truck load of frees from a ref who takes pity on the small young lads?

If we're fouling to beat the band we'll deserve to be punished for it.
If we play hard, tackle well without body charging or bating lads around the head and neck we won't be needing favours from the ref.

It's going to be hot in Thurles, strength and physical conditioning should be an advantage.
