FFG Government Ministers caught again

Is there anything stopping you as an individual or your party taking a case against this legal opinion?

Is any A.G. even going to imperil himself and his career while in office?

Would a S.F. Govt. even challenge the A.G. while in power?

No.

What's the worst case scenario for an AG who offers a legal opinion that supports the stance of those who appointed him? If found guilty of deliberately giving an OPINION that he knew to be at variance with the law (something extremely difficult to do about an opinion), the very worst that would happen to him is he'd get removed from the job that he wouldn't have gotten picked for in the first place if he wasn't going to play ball. No lose situation for him and his cronies.

Strangely he came across as a decent type of chap in a programme I saw him in a few years ago (it might have Living with Lucy).
Never liked him as a politician, came across as sneaky and entitled, didn't mind his radio show though or his TV show with Cooper.
Now, imagine the rattlement here when the perma outraged find out he is building 400 houses in Midleton. 😉

Some man for one man to be building 400 houses himself. Unless you mean he's involved in the financing of their build. I hope he pays his debts this time rather than doing a flit to britain for a year.

Bankrupt - check
Former TD - check
From Wexford - check
(Allegedly) involved in house building - check

He's just a better dressed Mick Wallace

He also said he was retiring(lasted 2 months) & said AIB lawyers tried to serve his mother as she left mass on Good Friday in 2012(AIB dispute this).
He's a Man City fan.
Says it all.

Are any of the opposition parties taking a case against his informed opinion?

No.

Taking social welfare off disabled residents of nursing homes.
Just another day with FF/FG at the helm.
And legally entitled to do so long before this Govt was in charge.

Vote Sinn Fein next time and everybody will be getting free houses, no bills and cheap food.

Things will be great for about 3 weeks.
