What will be your new GAA County?

Like folks from a lot of non-competitive counties, is it time for Cork GAA followers to pick an elite county or two to follow through the Summer?

Know a guy from Carlow who has had Kerry in the football and Kilkenny in the hurling for years ......lucky boy, he's had some great days.

Looking at what's left this year, Galway could well be in with a shot at the hurling - not too bad. Your other choices may be a bridge too far for you (at least in the first year you try it).

As to the football, again Galway has its attractions. No doubt a Galway title would be the people's choice (note the omens, anytime they have met Derry in the Summer, they have gone on to win the AI).

That be something though - 25 years after the Cork double, you'd see "your team" win it again. Happy out.

Galway for the double ? Or would you go with more certainty - Dubs and KK? You'd most likely have something to cheer about.

To hijack a phrase..... 21st Century thinking for 21st Century realities.

Sure go on, you first, tell us what wagon you're hitching to.

You have come up with some idiotic posts, this is right up there

No fucking chance.

This is the kinda shit you'd hear from Carlow, Louth and Wicklow lads.

As John Allen said yesterday - we've no claim to be better than anyone of those these days. We are Offaly. We are Wicklow.

What are the five stages again- denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance ?

Still at anger ?

Think we're all over denial given events in Thurles. And bargaining has begun in earnest across the threads.

First year's the toughest - after that you'll get to know the players and their backstories etc - it'll be like you were always apart of it.

Whaaaa?

Just trying to keep the love of the games alive for the youngsters.

Thought you'd be keeping vigil outside the bunker this morning waiting for the white smoke. Any stirrings?

If you want to keep the game alive for the youngsters contact your local club, if you know who they are, and put your shoulder to the wheel
You are a typical bandwagon supporter, your probably the first on the train to Croker when things are sweet and you sit behind your keyboard when there not so sweet
Idiotic thread

I'm not even from Cork and I'm embarrassed by this post. Shameful stuff out of the mouth of any self respecting GAA fan
