A red Toyota corolla. First car my parents bought new. Late 80s I'd guess.

It was literally falling apart. Different coloured back doors etc. couldn’t believe it was on the road when I saw it.

We didn't have a family car when I was a kid but an uncle had a Triumph (can't remember the exact model) which I adored.

I can't remember a favourite but I think I remember a Ford Cortina in the 60's when I was small and for the 1st 5,000 miles my father wouldn't drive over 50mph because "it would damage the engine". I remember a car full going to Garretstown and it took half the day to get there.

My brother had a white one of these a few years back. Red leather interior. Manual steering made turning corners interesting
