Staunton has been pissing me off from day one about this "2010" rubbish. It's sending the totally wrong signal to the players before they even start.

"We are planning towards the world cup in 2010, but that's not to say we won't be trying our best to get to Euro 2008".
What a completely defeatist attitude.
And then on Friday trying to sell us the line that a draw against Cyprus "wouldn't be a disaster".
A big dissapointment, even with a weakened team we really should have been good enough.
