Yessir.. Jaboulet makes superb wines (y)

I’ve had his Cote Rotie and Crozes-Hermitage as well.. both excellent, put on the list
I have the Crozes Hermitage looking at me here. I picked up a box of the Cotes du Rhone on the holliers earlier this year. A very decent drop. I didn't want to be a complete knob in the previous post, but sher fuckit: Jaboulet is my favourite winemaker. I mean, he's dead and all, but you know what I mean.

Et fils...... Innit?

Lads, anyone familiar with Ceres from Haut Bages Liberal? The 2020 is on offer for 15.50 here. I'm tempted. Broke, but tempted.

100% Merlot once it's Bordeaux isn't a game changer for me. I'll think about it. Price seems good and I haven't much French stuff.

Château de Lescours Saint-Émilion Grand Cru 2019 - reduced to €22 (or so) a bottle in Curious Wines before Christmas.

A bit too grippy initially but opened up for the second glass. Second half of the bottle the day was more enjoyable.
