I love steak but never order it in a restaurant, I won’t pay 35 quid + sides?

I’d be fairly confident I can cook a steak as good as most restaurants and better than some.

When I eat out I like to order dishes I couldn’t or wouldn’t cook myself.

The dry aged fillets and Ribeyes in Aldi are absolutely unreal, 14 quid for 2.

I just had them for dinner this evening with the Elbow lane seasoning, once you give them adequate time to rest and cook them with a bit of butter they are every bit as good as most restaurants

My mantra too.. family sick of me saying it..,
although I think a properly cooked simple meal, like a good pasta in an Italian restaurant is hard to match at home..

I have an uncle who no matter what type of restaurant he goes to he will order steak, even in a Chinese restaurant, of course that might be a steak of the madra variety!
