I was checking that place out when it first opened. Food looked unreal in the pictures

They gave up around Carrigtohill and slept in the car.


Would have thought it was too breezy to sit out yday evening?

Weirdly enough there was no breeze in Ballycotton, sea was flat calm. Was quite breezy in the city alright.

It's ok.

The menu is pretty basic.

If you're down that way again the food in The Schooner is really good.

It's nice there dedication to local ingredients but I have good access to local lamb and beef.
Goldie looks good and I am also considering the glass curtain.

Glass Curtain is supposed to be seriously good. I've not been personally though

The Snug in Bantry had a nice meal in there last Saturday

The Snug is pub grub with big portions or has it gone fancy. It's a cosy spot.
I brought my mam there, I had fish n chips, peas and can't remember what she had. It was fine

Had 3 lovely lamb cutlets there and they were spot on. Great fish menu with plenty of choice
