The Official Munster Rugby Thread™

You gotta love how the TMO shows VAR up as a half arsed solution. Excellent the way, the referee talked us through the Farrell yellow.
He got it wrong though. Was a red all day.
Farrell never changed his tackle height, he went low, Connacht player went low accidentally but Farrell was already committed.

Connacht surely won’t lose this from here like the one Munster robbed last year.

Dower stuff from munster. Can't just blame the coach. Healy wtf. Kicking from there into a wind. Lucky to have 15 as it was definitely a red.

Yes but he explained the mitigation of why it wasn’t a red in his opinion, didn’t leave us scratching our heads

Healy trying a drop goal from his own half, fucking hell composure required here for a while ffs
He didn’t even bother chasing it up. Aherne was shouting for him to play them onside. Yer man Porch had all day to return it should have taken it further and gone for a 50/22.

Don’t know much about that back rower they brought on, the young fella but he got pinged for not rolling away in one of the most stupid actions I’ve ever seen. Where’s your man Jenkins? Sub last week, nowhere this week.

Hard to see why DDA would stay, being used on crash ball, his pass to Conway early on and then his break late in the game, show what he’s capable of. They should have brought Trevor Halstead back at this rate.

Munster gave away two penalties at the end that would give cause to worry about the cognitive capacity of the offenders. Loughman and back row who rolled onto the ball 🙈. They have actually picked up where they left off back in October, where they were playing muck, but winning. Except now they're not winning.

I am starting to give up on Munster at this stage, from the very top of the organisation right down, there is something wrong.

I hope that they find a bloody excellent coach because if they don't then they will replace Connaught as the cast aways resort.

There were a series of stupid penalties by subs in the last 10 minutes which killed Munster- aherne, the sub back row and loughman……absolutely atrocious second half barely made it out of their own half. Agree with previous pat, can see de Allende move on from this unless a serious back room team brought in
